Bijapur District Banjara Vidyavardhak Sangh started the BANJARA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (B.ED) in 2009 - 2010 to train students into becoming useful and effective teachers for secondary schools and award the B.Ed. Degree of Rani Channamma University, Belagavi.
Teaching is the noble profession. Dedication, Devotion, Determination to the cause of educational & commitment to teaching are the essential qualities of a good teacher. Students are like raw stones, it is in the hands of a teacher to polish the same in to an idol of worship or just a stepping stone. Such proficient teachers can be produced only by institutions that have a vision for the development of the society through right education.

BANJARA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (B.ED) is an off-shoot of Bijapur District Banjara Vidyavardhak Sangh Group of Institutions, was established in the year 2009, as a result of the mystical foresight and creative genius of the Working President Sri. Kashinath Gangaram Rathod.
The College affiliated to Rani Channamma University, Belagavi and recognized by NCTE. The College is situated in an wide area Bijapur District Banjara Vidyavardhak Sangh in Vijayapura City. The College organizes campus interview with the collaborations of many prestigious educational Institutions. Many of the student teachers studied here have occupied prestigious positions in various sectors in different capacities especially in the field of Education.
The College has well trained, experienced and efficient faculty members, who is serving whole heartedly for the good cause of education. All the facets of the Institution are taken care for further development and extension to become an ideal Institution.
